Join us as a Scientist – Analytical Science in Global Product Development Macclesfield (GPD) and help transform product design and development to deliver new medicines to patients.
Accountabilities:
As part of our highly collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in the analytical development of new medicinal products. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering analytical knowledge and data to understand manufacturing processes, control strategy, robustness, and stability. You will work cross-functionally with multiple internal and external interfaces, supporting drug projects from early clinical phases through to commercial filings. Essential Skills/Experience:
- BSc, MSc or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- An understanding of key analytical techniques for the analysis and characterisation of drug products.
- An understanding of the principles and management of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE).
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- A good understanding of the overall drug development process from discovery through to launch.
- Experience of supporting clinical manufacture and working with contract manufacturing organisations.
- Knowledge and experience of technology transfers and method validation.
- Experience working to cGMP standards.
- Experience with digital tools and application of Generative AI in pharmaceutical development.
- Experience with automation of analytical techniques.
